A quilt I made for Marlene Lesperance. One fabric features BC totem poles and the other fabric, birds at the top of the totem pole. Designed for 2010 BC Winter Olympics. For my quilt design, I used stars becausee it is important to our First Nations culture.
The second quilt, fabric is black and white with scenes from New York during the 1930's.
Second row. Sports Quilt for Joe Hawryluik, seen in the second photo. Sad news, I've know Joe for 50 years, and for the last 2 years Joe and his wife Isabel had coffee with us every Wednesday and Saturday. A month after he received this quilt, Joe passed away.
